I have this problem sometimes myself, or if I click the back button the gallery I was just at won't load at all.

I've been having gallery issues too. With blank galleries mostly.
Also, has anyone been getting System Maintenance messages when they go to check someone's gallery?

I kept getting that stupid system maintenance page whenever I tried looking through anyone's favorites OR gallery yesterday. dA's being weird lately... >_>

It was AdBlock Plus on Firefox that was going it to me. So I whitelisted dA. Problem solved.

DA's maintenance page shows up randomly for me. It happens when i click on anything on any given time.
